Register for the 9th International Congress
of the Alexander-Technique in Lugano

In order to allow for some recent strengthening of the Swiss Franc particularly against the US dollar and the GB pound, we have decided to reduce the regular registration fee from CHF 985 to CHF 885. This price will be available until July 1st. The trainees fee will remain at the discount rate of 640 CHF.
Registration at the Congress will be possible for 1100 CHF for the week. Daily tuition at the Congress is available as well and will be CHF 250 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Wednesday will be 100 CHF. ⇒See Congress Fees page for details.
Congress registration is a simple, straightforward 4-step-process (outlined above).
However, you might want to gather more information on a section before registering - simply click on any section header/name to revail details.
In the 'Personal Information' section you will input your e-mail address and select your registration type.
On the following page you will be asked to put in your contact information.
Finally, at the bottom of the page, you will need to read the paragraphs that contain important information about the Congress Ethos. You'll need to accept the Congress Ethos before you're able continue the registration process.
You'll also be able to opt-in for Phone Updates if you would like to receive information updates on your cell phone during the Congress of important information such as room and schedule changes.
If you will have difficulty moving between the Congress Center and the University ( 6 short blocks ) there's a checkbox for this as well.
The following page will be for you to select the ⇒Continuous Learning sessions that you would like to work with.
The Continuous Learning ( CL ) workshops are for you to be able to spend up to 3 hours over 2 days working with some of the world’s most accomplished Alexander Teachers.
There will be 3 sets of workshops that you can sign up for: Monday-Tuesday, Wednesday-Thursday, and Friday-Saturday. The CL workshops will be from 9:00 to 10:30 and mostly take place in the University classrooms.
The workshops will be limited to 25 students, on a first-come, first-served basis. So it is advisable to sign up early for the teachers that you wish to work with. However there is no need to fear of lack of space as in addition to the 20 Continuous Learning teachers, at the same time we will be presenting lectures in the Congress Hall on the Alexander Technique and music, taught by 5 of the Technique’s foremost authorities on working with musicians. There is no limit to the number of people who can attend these lectures. Many of these same experts will be giving afternoon workshops as well.

The final step of registration presents you with a confirmation page displaying all the information you entered, your selected Continuous Learning sessions, plus your possible bus passes and sightseeing tours as well as payment information.
You will receive a receipt and an e-mail confirmation.
Please bring a copy of your receipt with you to Lugano.
After reviewing your registration you may simple close the browser window. You do not need to log out or take any other measures.
