Pamela Blanc certified 1979 ACAT-San Francisco under the direction of Frank Ottiwell and Giora Pinkas. Interested in her own Continuing Education, Pamela studied for years with many of the first generation teachers. Pamela is a founding Director (1987) and a Senior Training Teacher at the Alexander Training Institute of Los Angeles (ATI-LA) and oversees the Continuing Education Program for ATI-LA. Pamela's curiosity around breathing led her to Jessica Wolf in 1998 and to enroll in the first post-graduate course in the Art of Breathing in NYC in 2002. Pamela is now the Senior Teacher assisting Jessica on Art of Breathing post-graduate courses offered to other Alexander Technique Teachers. Pamela is an active member of the American Society for the Alexander Technique and gave the F.M. Alexander Memorial Address (2012) at the celebration of the 25th Anniversary of the founding of AmSAT. Pamela lives and has her private practice in Los Angeles, California and currently teaches two days/week in the Music Conservatory at Chapman University. Throughout her 35-year career, she has been on the faculty and taught master classes in theater and music programs at numerous universities and enjoys traveling to share this work.
