Added "Intended attendees" section to Congress Registration page [ http://bit.ly/bseoPs ]

The Congress is open to all. Anyone with an interest in the Alexander Technique may attend. In line with our theme of 'Education', there will be a focus on the skills of Alexander Technique teachers.

Participants are asked to respect the Congress Ethos, that:

In the spirit of the International Alexander Congresses, we value the many approaches to the learning and teaching of Alexander’s work.

Registration for a Congress implies agreement to participate in this spirit of mutual respect, and agreement not to demean the person or work of other participants.

We ask all those enrolling for their participation in fostering a supportive atmosphere where diversity is encouraged and respectful dialogue enjoyed.

Professor Max Velmans to give a plenary talk

We're very pleased that Professor Max Velmans (Goldsmiths College, London) has agreed to give a plenary talk at Lugano. He is a very accessible speaker on the very interesting subjects of consciousness, perception and mental causation! We're discussing ways in which his presentation can be relevant and informative for us. In the meantime, his book,'Understanding Consciousness' is an excellent overview of mind/body theories.
