Welcome to the Registration!

The Congress Directors are pleased to announce that the 8th International Congress will have an OPEN  REGISTRATION  POLICY for all events with the exception of the Continuous Learning track.

The concept of an Open Registration Policy invites Congress participants to examine all the educational possibilties for each day of the Congress. Attendees will then go to workshops, lectures and presentations on a first come - first serve - basis. This approach is now commonly used at events, larger than our gathering, with great success and very little difficulty. We believe that the diversity of offerings, over six Congress days, will allow each participant the opportunity to fully explore the work of colleagues, to delve deeply into an area of interest, and to enjoy exchanging work with other Alexander Teachers.

The one exception to this Congress 2008 Policy will be the Continuous Learning track each morning. The focus of the Continuous Learning track is on teaching the Alexander Technique. All Alexander Technique teachers and teacher trainees will have the opportunity to attend these sessions as the core of the Congress. Continuous Learning Teachers may be chosen using an online registration process (to be available soon). These workshops have a limited size and are chosen on a first come - first serve - basis. You will be scheduled to work, for two consecutive days, with three Continuous Learning Teachers. The list of Continuous Learning Teachers and onsite Registration details can be found under the Continuous Learning Faculty link.

We are looking forward to seeing you all, soon, in Lugano!
