I left his Congress with a happy feeling because I experienced an open-minded community that I have not found before.

A great opportunity to meet passionate colleagues and to learn from each other. I made new friends, learned a lot and came home inspired. Thank you for a perfectly organized congress

Wonderful city, excellent organization, workshops for every taste.

No time for work exchange. Also, afternoon and continuous learning workshops I wanted to attend were constantly clashing.

To meet and work with other teachers from different styles/traditions is an invaluable way to go further with ones understanding and learning this work.

Seems to take place a change in the work by change of generation - more ideas which open the heart and the connection to what is instead of ego mind directed right or wrong rudiments. Very useful and necessary to react to the problems the world is being faced.

This, my first Congress, was absolutely amazing. As I mentioned above, it was a pleasure and a privilege to work with teachers from around the world with such a wealth and diversity of experience, knowledge and expertise.

I could not enjoy too much the Plenary Sessions and Science of Human Functioning Lectures because of the language. It was very difficult for me to follow them. Of course it was wonderful to see Elizabeth Walker working.

The Congress was a wonderful opportunity to have more than a superficial experience with the diversity of AT thinking and practice that is going on world wide. It was very inspiring and thought provoking. It was also a wonderful time to connect and re-connect with AT colleagues.

Its been great event to experience so many different styles and approaches of Alexander Technique which helped me to improve my own use and expand my thinking about AT.

Excellent presenters and very interesting classes, the congress was very educational and stimulating.

I struggle with the quality of the afternoon workshops. I realize it is important to allow attendees a platform to share work, I would like to see more invited workshops from known presenters who have expertise with presentation skills and content of great interest.

Visit the next congress and have the same good experience as I had. Have a wonderful week, with wonderful colleagues and our wonderful work.

I'm not convinced that the scientific approach is the way to go. Science is made by humans with their own biases . . . I felt that the presenters who talked about science were frequently missing the point altogether.

In incredible possibility to meet other teachers and to learn in the nicest atmosphere possible.

Lots of learning and exchange, many very friendly folk around, extremely costly.

To learn from each other was reality.

Unfortunately many AT-teachers are not able to arrive to events on time. One teacher said (after having disturbed the whole group): I'm not good at being on time. (My thought: maybe she should contact an AT-teacher to get rid of her bad habits!)

The congress is a marvellous learning experience, in which your knowledge gets challenged and/or confirmed.

A fascinating event in a wonderful location attended by especially nice people.

A very open atmosphere. A great variety.

If English is not your mother language, it was hard to understand the plenary session speakers. They spoke too fast, with a slang (exept Kevan Martin) and were not interested to slow down.

It joyfully broke many fixed ideas I had about our profession, the way the others teach, think and so on

An absolute must for every Alexander teacher in the world. I've described it many times to many people as the Disneyland of the Alexander world... so many rides and attractions that one just doesn't have enough time to do it all.

Running around from one building to another; a programme too compressed; a very wide offer of afternoon workshops with promissing themes but often poor in practice.

It is like a fresh blood cell cure for the whole being.

I found it a pity that many of the plenary session lecturers were not such gifted speakers. Many spoke too fast about complex subjects and made obvious mistakes i.e. cramming too much detail in to a power point sheet. It was hard to stay focused through it. Even though the topics were well chosen and interesting.

It is a very Alexander event where you are confronted every minute to making choice ! Which continuous learning, which workshop or maybe rather work exchange, next to whom to sit or with whom to talk and how long, going to evening program or rather to bed, making new contacts or renewing with old friends!

I think it would be very nice if the main entrance were more like a marketplace. Bookshops and work exchange in the middle of the crowd would be very inspiring.

… and to see Elizabeth Walker again giving a Master class in her age was touching me deeply.
