The workshop frame is based on Patrick Macdonald's 5 points:
1. Recognition of the Force of Habit
2. Inhibition and Non-Doing
3. Recognition of Faulty Sensory Awareness
4. Sending Directions
5. Action and linked to: Marjorie Barlow's approach and Margaret Goldie's Non-Doing attitude.
The workshop is partly experimental, which means it is open to questions, discussion, flexibility and practical work under guidance of Gerda.
The workshop wil be limited to 12 people.
Gerda Druks-Kok trained with Patrick Macdonald and qualified in 1982. She worked for over 10 years with Margaret Goldie and for over 24 years with Marjorie Barlow.
Gerda has run a private practice for the last 25 years; currently at Pilates 'Off the Square' in Marylebone - London and worked for over 20 years at the London Dramatic Academy (previously Marymount College) with American Drama students in London studying classical theatre, currently run by Fordham University - New York.
