Concepts of the Primary Control
Different concepts and approaches for the understanding of the Primary Control and the applied principles. Demonstration, with help from the participants, of the different approaches.
Rivka Cohen studied the Alexander Technique in London in the years 1957 to 1962 and was qualified as a teacher by Patrick MacDonald in 1962. During the five years spent in London she also studied with Peter Scott, Wilfred Barlow, Margaret Goldie, Bill Williams and Walter Carrington.
She returned to Israel and taught the AT privately for 20 years. In 1980 she opened the Haifa School for the Alexander Technique. She has qualified in Israel approximately 70 teachers.
For the last 15 years she has given postgraduate courses and workshops in Israel, the US, Canada, Europe and Japan.
